Circular Saw Safety for Maintenance Applications

This course provides practical training on the safe setup and operation of circular saws and circular saw benches in line with HSE guidance (WIS16). Delegates learn machine standards, guarding requirements, and safe cutting techniques to prevent kickback, blade contact, and other common hazards.

The course covers riving‑knife adjustment, push‑stick use, braking systems, and dust‑control measures, ensuring operators work safely, confidently, and in compliance with PUWER and relevant British Standards.
